Environmental Awareness:

The Rotary Club of Colombo Centennial successfully conducted an Environmental Awareness programme at St. Bridget’s Convent Primary School, Colombo 07, engaging over 300 students from Grades 1 to 5 in an interactive and educational session. The programme was led by Rtn. Sandali Geethma, President of the Rotary Club of Kolonnawa and District Project Chair for Rotary for Environment, who delivered an engaging session on plastic pollution and the importance of keeping our environment clean, supported by practical demonstrations.

As part of the initiative, 8 dustbins were donated to the school to encourage proper waste management and instill responsible habits among students. We extend our sincere appreciation to Rev. Sister Mary Dilrukshika Silva, Principal of St. Bridget’s Convent Primary School, for her support and cooperation in making this project a success. This initiative reflects our commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious future generations. 🌍✨
