Event 3

The Rotary Club of Colombo Centennial successfully
conducted the LMSV District Project – Event 3 on the
24th of April 2026 at Shri Sumangala Primary School. The
programme engaged primary students in performing
songs that promoted positive values and habits such as
kindness, discipline, respect, cleanliness, and
responsibility. Through these performances, students
were encouraged to express important life lessons
creatively while developing confidence, teamwork, and
communication skills.
The initiative was organized to strengthen value-based
education among young students and encourage
peaceful interactions within the community. By using
music and performance as a medium, the project
reinforced positive social values that students can
continue to practice in their schools, homes, and
communities, contributing towards building a more
respectful and harmonious society
