Flood Relief Initiative
On the 24th of December, the Rotary Club of Colombo Centennial, in collaboration with Rotary District 3220, successfully handed over essential lifesaving medicines to the Sri Lanka Air Force to support emergency response efforts for communities affected by the recent Dithwa cyclone–induced floods.
The medicines were formally handed over to Air Vice Marshal Dr. Lalith Jayaweera, Director General of Health Services, and will be distributed through the SLAF’s emergency medical and logistics networks to ensure timely care for vulnerable families.
This initiative reflects Rotary’s strong commitment to collaborative action during national emergencies, working closely with key state institutions to maximize reach and impact.
✨ Service Above Self in action.
