Blood Donation Drive at SLTC

In collaboration with the Rotaract Club of SLTC, the Rotary Club of Colombo Centennial successfully carried out a Blood Donation Project at SLTC, Padukka, reinforcing our shared commitment to saving lives and supporting the national blood supply. The project was chaired by Rtr. W. A. Sithmi Samadi and was conducted with the support of the Maharagama Blood Donation Hospital, which provided the required medical equipment and professional staff to ensure a safe and well-organized donation process.

The initiative saw the enthusiastic participation of 110 donors, with 100 successful blood donations, reflecting the strong spirit of service among the academic staff, non-academic staff, and students of SLTC. This meaningful project highlighted the power of collaboration between Rotary and Rotaract, and the impact that collective action can have in making a real difference in the lives of others.
