Lenses of Life: A Photographic Exhibition for a Compassionate Cause
Join us on October 12th and 13th, 2024, at Lionel Wendt Hall from 9 AM onwards for Lenses of Life, a powerful fundraising photography exhibition supporting the “Little Hearts” National Project. Organised by the Rotary Club of Colombo Centennial, this initiative aims to build a state-of-the-art Cardiac and Critical Care complex at Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital in Colombo.

Diwali Celebration: A Festival of Light and Togetherness
On November 7th, our members joined ten other clubs to celebrate Diwali in a vibrant and joyful event that highlighted the rich cultural traditions of the festival of lights. The celebration featured traditional music, dance performances, the lighting of diyas, and the sharing of festive foods and sweets. It was a meaningful occasion that fostered unity, cultural appreciation, and lasting connections among all who attended.

Bakery for Homemakers: Empowering Women, Supporting Global Causes
The Rotary Club of Colombo Centennial recently organised the Bakery for Homemakers programme to equip homemakers with baking and entrepreneurial skills, helping them boost financial independence and confidence. The event also served as a fundraiser for the Rotary Foundation, with all proceeds supporting global initiatives in health, education, clean water, and economic development—truly reflecting Rotary’s mission of “Doing Good in the World”.
